Pendery’s, the Oldest Family Owned & Operated Business in Texas & the Inventors of Chile Blend, Annual Charity Chili Cookoff will take place on “The Boulevard” of Southern Methodist University and benefit the Housing Crisis Center’s Homeless Victims of Domestic Violence Program, Cattle Baron’s Ball as well as other charities. A BBQ Lunch will be provided by volunteers from the Dallas Police’s Competition BBQ Team. Last year we raised $143,000 for local charities. This year up to a $60,000 “Challenge Match” will be provided, So make your donation count! For every dollar you donate to HCC on or before April 12th, we will match it, including sponsorships and donations for the HCC Tea at the Mansion on April 26th. Compete in two Divisions: CASI/Tolbert and ICS Texas State. Over $7,000 in Trophies, Cash & Prizes– The largest payout of any Chili Cookoff in the State of Texas.
